Event Name:  Year of Faith - Canonization of Seven Martyrs

As part of the “Year of Faith,” which is due to last from Oct. 11 - Nov. 24, 2013, a series of events are due to take place in Rome during that period.

Sunday Oct. 21 will see the canonization of seven martyrs: Jacques Berthieu, Pedro Calungsod, Giovanni Battista Piamarta, Maria del Carmen (born Maria Salles y Barangueras), Kateri Tekakwitha, Maria Anna Cope and Anna Schaffer.
