The Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools serves the elementary and secondary schools throughout the diocese. The primary criterion in the recruiting of principals and teachers is their ability to respect Catholic values and to aid in the Christian formation of students.

The School Office publishes a policy manual for administrators and curriculum guidelines for teachers. It assumes responsibility for upgrading school programs in accordance with accreditation standards of the Texas Catholic Conference and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
