The mission of the Communication's Department is to spread the word of God by utilizing our radio station KLUX, our newspaper The South Texas Catholic, Facebook, Twitter and our own website.

The Director of Communication coordinates the diocese’s interacting with our media. The director coordinates the media requests for interviews, comments and the requesting of the media to cover diocesan activities and events as well as direct the operation of KLUX radio and televised Masses.
