Many couples monitor fertility to avoid pregnancy. Natural Family Planning (nfp) has also been used to help some couples achieve pregnancy. Come to the next series of nfp classes to be held at St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Church, 3901 Violet Rd. in Annaville beginning on March 21, to learn how to chart cycles in hopes to achieve pregnancy. Call the Texas A&M Health Science Center Coastal Bend Health Education Center’s Diabetes Education Program at 361-857-2945 to get more information about classes and other resources available.

Does someone in your life have Diabetes? If you look around, chances are it impacts all of us! Get control of this disease through “Controlling Your Diabetes,” a class that teaches you about changes and choices you can make to control your blood sugar levels to live a healthier life. Classes are taught in English and Spanish by a registered nurse and a registered dietician. It may be used to achieve or avoid a pregnancy. It meets the church’s marriage requirement – a certificate is given to you to take to your pastor.
