Join the Schoenstatt Catholic Movement of Corpus Christi in a monthly bus pilgrimage to the Schoenstatt Shrine in Rockport (Lamar) on the 18th of each month. Bus departs from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Corpus Christi, 8:30 a.m. and Saint Thomas More Parish, 9 a.m. The bus returns at approximately 2:30 p.m. Bring a sack lunch. Call the Texas A&M Health Science Center Coastal Bend Health Education Center’s Diabetes Education Program at 361-857-2945 to get more information about classes and other resources available.

Does someone in your life have Diabetes? If you look around, chances are it impacts all of us! Get control of this disease through “Controlling Your Diabetes,” a class that teaches you about changes and choices you can make to control your blood sugar levels to live a healthier life. Classes are taught in English and Spanish by a registered nurse and a registered dietician. It may be used to achieve or avoid a pregnancy. It meets the church’s marriage requirement – a certificate is given to you to take to your pastor.
