R.C.I.A. is the process by which individuals of catechectical age are gradually initiated by steps and stages into the Body of Christ, becoming full, active, conscious participants in the prayer and life of the believing community.
The use of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is mandatory in the dioceses of the USA.
