On this mountain the Lord of hosts will provide for all peoples a Feast of rich food and
choice wines -- juicy, rich food and pure, choice wines.
-- Isaiah 25:6
“I’m not being fed,” is a commonly heard complaint from someone who
feels a sense of emptiness or hunger in their spiritual lives. Well, this
menu will help you not only discover the food that satisfies the soul, but
also to understand a step-by-step process to come to a more personal,
spiritually nourishing relationship with the Lord Jesus.
As the expression goes, “You are what you eat.” After all, the very tissues
of your body, the fuel that powers every cell, the hormones that
keep you humming, all must ultimately be furnished by the foods you
eat. The same applies to your soul. Whether you are a new Christian
or a lifelong believer, you are responsible for continually feeding your
soul with healthy food that helps you become holy, the best-version
of-yourself.
Built on 2,000 years of experience in forming disciples of Christ, the
Catholic Church offers an extensive menu selection to choose from.
The basic elements to become a disciple are first Evangelization, then
Discipleship, then Service, and all of this supported by Prayer & Fellowship
(cf. Acts 2:42, 4:33).
And the best news of all—it’s free. It is a gift from God to you, but it’s
not cheap. This great meal was already paid for at a very high cost by
our Lord Jesus Christ out of His perfect love for You. So receive His
love, by eating to your hearts content.

STEP 1 — Evangelization
Select an appetizer & drink. Experience
one or two of the appetizers and your life will never be the same. Wash
them down with a drink from the Holy Spirit, and you will understand
why we call them GOOD NEWS worth telling others about. Be sure
not to skip the appetizer as it will not only increase your appetite for
the main course, but also dispose your soul to absorb all its nutrients.
STEP 2—Discipleship
Select the main entrée. The Catholic Church
is where you can really and truly be fed a two course meal, taken from
the one table of God’s Word and Christ’s Body (cf. Catechism #103). No
other restaurant in town offers both the Bible and the real Body, Blood,
Soul, and Divinity of the Lord Jesus in the Eucharist (cf. Jn 6:51). If you
are not a Catholic, the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) will
help prepare you to receive the Eucharist. It is well worth the wait.
STEP 3—Community & Service
Select a side dish. Jesus not
only calls people to Himself, but also forms them in community and
sends them out in His service. In this menu, you will find a variety of
ministries to choose from, in which to serve the Lord. It’s a perfect
complement to the main entrée.
STEP 4—Prayer & Fellowship
Select a dessert. Feel free to order
one of our succulent desserts, and you will be energized by the joy of
living and praying in a Catholic faith community. Please note, that as
good as our desserts are, it is not healthy to only eat desserts.
Now, you are ready to enjoy the Lord’s feast of rich food and
choice wines.
Bon Appètit!
