“The Eucharist is more than a momentary gift,” Bishop Michael Mulvey said during his third preliminary talk, “Eucharist and Mission.” The third and final talk preceding the Eucharistic Congress 2022 was held at Our Lady of Victory Parish Hall in Beeville on March 26. “We are called Eucharistic people, not only because we celebrate the Eucharist, but also because we live with the Eucharist. God gave his life for us. Our ministry is our mission —to be Christ to others.”

SAN ANTONIO—Catholic Life Insurance is now accepting applications for the 2022 Msgr. Henkes and Msgr. Stuebben Seminarian scholarships. Two scholarships valued at $2,000 each are awarded annually to help offset the tuition expenses of those entering the Roman Catholic priesthood. The deadline to apply is June 15, 2022.
