Persons that may attend must be at least 18 years old, can receive the sacraments, and DO NOT have mental/ psychological problems or any drug/ alcohol addictions. Cursillos are centered on the Eucharist by attending Mass daily and receiving The Body and Blood of the Christ.
Married couples must be married by the Catholic Church to be able to receive the sacraments. Persons that CANNOT live a Cursillo include unmarried couples living together or civilly married couples since they cannot receive the sacraments.
We encourage these couples to get married by church first. Persons with psychiatric/ mental disabilities or alcohol/drug addictions CANNOT live a Cursillo because we are not psychiatrist or medical professionals to handle their disabilities/ behaviors and needs. A person must be of sound mind and drug/substance free in order to get the full benefit of a Cursillo.
If you are interested in living a Cursillo, print and fill-out the form below. The Preliminary Card must be approved by your local priest.
