Official Assignments

For the good of the People of God, the Most Rev. Wm. Michael Mulvey has made the following assignments:

Appointing Rev. Peter Thenan as Parochial Vicar of the Corpus Christi Cathedral effective March 1, 2023. 

Appointing Rev. Angel Montana as Parochial Vicar of St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Parish in Premont effective March 1, 2023, and also assist at Sacred Heart in Falfurrias. To assist primarily, but not exclusively, with the Spanish ministry at both parishes. 

Appointing Rev. Jose Salazar as a priest in residence at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Corpus Christi effective immediately. Fr. Salazar will assist on a part-time basis. In addition, Fr. Salazar is also assigned on a part-time basis to assist at Cardinal John Henry Newman Catholic Student Center at Texas A&M Center- Corpus Christi.

Bishop Mulvey looks forward to a continued collaboration as bishop and co-worker with our priests in the Lord's vineyard. "May all your thoughts, words and actions be like those of Christ, the Good Shepherd," says Bishop Mulvey.
