Surrounded by the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, family, friends and associates, Sister Anna Hien Le made her first profession of vows as a Sister of IWBS on Aug. 6 at the Motherhouse on Lipes Blvd. Msgr. Michael Howell presided over the Mass. Msgr. Thomas P. Feeney, Father Dominic Hoan Nguyen, Father Joseph Tung Tran, and Father Peter Nghi Pham concelebrated.
The gathering was an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate this important step with Sister Anna and to come together as one. Guests mingled and shared a wonderful lunch prepared by Sister JoAnn Saenz, Mia Diaz and Katina Roberson.
Sister Anna said, “I have received a lot of love, support and blessings from many people on my journey of consecrated life. Today the joy is increased double, joys in your presence and prayer in this ceremony. This is a special gift of God the Father through the Holy Spirit to come upon me. I am inspired by our foundress, Venerable Jeanne Chézard de Matel, when she mentioned in her writing: ‘My Lover, You are my God, and I give thanks to you; O my God, I extol you.’ “
