Students from St John Paul II High School participated in the Adopt-a-Beach Program on Jan. 26. This inspiring group of students made it a very successful experience.
St. Pius X Catholic School in Corpus Christi began National Catholic Schools Week with a kick-off parade and pep rally. Students from St. John Paul II High School band, dance team, cheerleaders, Robotics team members, as well as the cheerleaders from Incarnate Word Academy High School joined them in the celebratory parade.
Incarnate Word Academy will host its 2018 Paradise Island Gala, the school’s signature annual fundraiser of the year, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 3 at L&F Distributors.

As of monday, Jan. 30, the Chancery of the Diocese of Corpus Christi has moved to its new location at Tower II located at 555 N. Carancahua. The new offices are across the street from the old Chancery location on Lipan and Carancahua.

St. Patrick School students did well at the Windsor Park Chess Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 13, earning the second place team trophy in the primary school division. Young Catholic Adults-Corpus Christi, ages 18-39 welcome, will hold a concert night on Feb. 2 featuring Wings Over Society, The OddFellas and Movement 5! The concert will be held at St. Pius X Church, from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

The Knights of Columbus, the largest Catholic fraternal order in the world, has announced a membership initiative that allows eligible Catholic men to join the organization online. The program is being rolled out in select states, including Texas, and will be introduced nationally in July.
