Join us and others as Dioceses from across the State of Texas come together in solidarity at the south steps of the State Capitol Building to give witness that Texas RESPECTS ALL LIFE!
The Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade in 2022, returning the power to legislate abortion at the state level. Now more than ever it is important to attend the Texas Rally for Life.
The Rally is open to all adults, college, high school, and middle school students, and youth groups. Seating is limited, so register early! INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY AND YOUTH GROUP registrations are available.
Registration fee only includes transportation to and from Austin, TX via motor coach. Buses will make one stop at Buc-ee’s coming back (own funds). Lunch is available after Mass. Serving two tostadas, rice, and beans and drink OR two chili dogs with fries and drink for $10.00 either option (cash). Individuals or groups can also bring their own food (picnic style) in containers/bags to save money!

5:00 A.M. – Gates open and meet at Designated Departure Site (ST. JOHN PAUL II HIGH SCHOOL, 3036 Saratoga Blvd., Corpus Christi, TX 78415)
5:20 A.M. - Buses arrive and prepare to board chartered buses. You may leave your cars in the parking lot.
5:50 A.M. – Buses will leave promptly at 5:50 A.M. Please be on time! Breakfast on your own so bring snacks or tacos to go.
10:00 A.M. – Attend Pro Life Mass with Bishops Vasquez and Mulvey, San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest Avenue, Austin, TX 78704
Lunch – San Jose Catholic Church - $10.00 for hot lunch – cash. ** (See note below) **
1:00 P.M. - Gather at starting point for Rally - the parking lot at the northwest corner of 15th Street and Colorado Street for the march to the South Steps of the Capitol.
1:30 P.M. - March to the South Steps of the Capitol Building.
2:00 P.M. – 3:00 PM - Rally at the South Steps of the Capitol with Pro Life Speakers.
4:00 P.M. – All buses depart Austin, TX (except one bus, St. John Paul II students)
4:30 – 5:00 P.M. – St. John Paul II & IWA buses depart Austin, TX
Break – Buses will stop at Buc-ee’s on the way back for food & restroom.
8:00 - 9:00 P.M. - Approximate arrival of buses back to drop-off points.
** Important note: The buses will drop us at San Jose Catholic Church for Mass. After Mass is lunch, and they are serving two tostadas, rice, and beans and drink OR two chili dogs with fries and drink for either option is $10.00. Any group planning to bring their own food and have a picnic lunch will need to notify their driver so they open the bus for you to get your items and you can eat your food inside the hall or on the church grounds as they have tables outside, prior to the rally.
